设施总体规划

In November 2020, Trinidad State’s Facilities Planning Committee began working to update the 10-year 设施总体规划 (FMP). The last update was in 2012. TSC engaged Hall Architects and Smith Group to conduct the FMP and space utilization study. The following individuals are serving on the FMP committee:

The 2022-2032 设施总体规划 is scheduled to be completed in fall 2021 and will be presented to the State Board for Community College and Occupational Education (SBCCOE) in December 2021.

The goals of the FMP are to support the TSC百年目标 to increase enrollment to 1500 FTE, increase graduation rates to 50%, increase transfers to 250/year, and eliminate the equity gap. A fifth Centennial Goal is to build reserves in order to implement the 设施总体规划.

The FMP Committee prioritized development of a Program Plan for the Freudenthal 图书馆 on the 特立尼达的校园 to be completed by April 2021 for submission to the state Capital Development Committee for consideration in the FY21-22 funding cycle. 第一阶段 plan was funded by the legislature in the 2021 session of the General Assembly at $6,276,339. Construction is expected to begin in early 2023. 第二阶段由 the legislature in the 2022 session at $1,049,232 for a total appropriation of $7,325,571. Additional grant funding of $605,000 increased the total budget to $7,930,571.


Residence Halls – 特立尼达的校园
Romero Hall - $5,681,625 FUNDED

In summer 2021, the FMP Committee prioritized development of a Program Plan to renovate the 特立尼达的校园 Residence Halls. This decision recognized the opportunity to use federal COVID relief funds to improve indoor air quality as a measure to suppress 冠状病毒. On September 8, 2021, the SBCCOE approved expenditure of $2,171,625 in COVID relief funds to implement Phase I of the Residence Hall Complex renovation plan. As an Auxiliary funded facility, the Residence Halls are not eligible for Capital Funding from the State of Colorado. An additional $510,000 was added to Phase I, Romero Hall through the sale of the TSC President’s House, and another $2 million through a loan from CCCS, matched by $1,000,000 of TSC reserves increased the total budget of Romero Hall renovation to $5,681,625.
